Devoirs pour vendredi 10 janvier:
CC: Read Rosa Parks p. 13 to 15 + do activity 9 p. 6

Géographie: Finir les pages 8 et 9 + revoir le vocabulaire de la p. 5 + de la page 8 : océans, continents, méridien de Greenwich, équateur, hémispère sud / nord / est / ouest.

Devoirs pour jeudi 9 janvier:
CC: Read Rosa Parks p. 5 to 10 + do activities 4, 5, 6 p. 3 + 7 p. 4

Ecrit: Relire attentivement le texte sur les ours noirs et les grizzlis - Petit test de compréhension.


Devoirs pour mercredi 8 janvier:
CC: Read Rosa Parks p. 3 + do activities 1, 2, 3 p. 2

Géographie: Finish the cover + p. 3 to 6 + learn the vocab p. 5. It is also important to bring a box of colored pencil for the class (lots of mapping), especially extra blues. 

For CC: Read The Watsons go to Brimingham-1963 to at least chapter 10 + answer questions (the 1st one is lengthy, but most students started in class). 



For writing think of 2 elements you would want to compare. Suggestions were:
Your education to your grandparents'
2 closely related animals (within the same species : camel vs. dromedary - or doing the same thing : cats vs. dogs for company - working dogs / horses for racing or working in the field / 2 animals that use camouflage.
2 closely related religions (within the Christian Church for example / Orthodox Judaism vs. Judaism)
2 closely related food item (rice and quinoa / sweet potatoes and potatoes / sugars).
2 kinds of volcanoes.
